History & Policy is pleased to announce, in partnership with the Four Nations History Network, the line-up for our forthcoming event Four Nations? Historical Perspectives on Devolution.

The event, which will take place at Kings College London on 19th July, will see a roundtable of historians discuss the long-view on devolution in the United Kingdom.

Former MP John Denham and Historians Lord Paul Bew, Naomi Lloyd-Jones and Lord Kenneth Morgan will talk on England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales, respectively. Each will discuss contemporary issues around nationalism and devolution, considering historical parallels. This event hopes to cast light on the ongoing impact of devolution by looking back to the past.

Our speakers' respondent will be Professor Linda Colley who will provide her insights. The event will be followed by a wine reception.

While the event is free to attend, and all are welcome, places are limited so registration is required. Please reserve you space here: http://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/four-nations-historical-perspectives-on-uk-devolution-tickets-12059455155
