Professor Sally Sheard (Professor of the History of Medicine at the University of Liverpool and H&P committee member) hosts a special BBC Radio 4 series National Health Stories, every day between 18 June and 14 July 2018 at 1.45pm. The series marks the 70th anniversary of the Act enabling the creation of the National Health Service - Sally will explore the stories, personalities, health crises and innovations that have shaped its development.
