We are delighted to publish a new article by Dr Jim Moher on the General Strike. Entitled The General Strike, 4th to 13th May 1926 – A Contemporary Diary: The Key Actors in a Gigantic Drama, the piece provides a vivid day-by-day account of one of the most momentous episodes in British labour history. It follows a panel discussion organised by Dr Moher and the Trades Union and Employment Forum in April this year, Remembering the General Strike, 100 Years On. Please follow the links for the article and an account of the panel.
